My baby has a dreaded diaper rash! How do I fix it!
The first and most prominent problem new mothers experience is the dreaded diaper rash! First, it may seem a bit red but begins to creep and become a big problem. I remember my son having an extreme case of diaper rash and not knowing what to do. Fortunately, the diaper rash bothered me more than him!
The sunshine is a great natural healer for diaper rash. If possible, let the baby go without the diaper for several separate hours of the day. This is easy when your baby is younger and not crawling, of course! You can purchase a waterproof pad and place your baby on the tummy in the sunshine. Make sure your baby is kept warm though, depending on the temperature in your home. Change your babys diaper more frequently to prohibit acidic burning.
Next, stop using those bottom wipes! Wipes contain a large amount of alcohol that will continue to irritate your babys skin and make diaper rash much worse. Always cleanse the area with a wash cloth and warm water. Make sure the diaper area is dry! Apply our Super Baby Bum Balm which contains zinc-oxide, a powerful defense against diaper rash. Added Vitamin E will also sooth the problem area. Follow up with our Lovely Lavender talc-free Baby Powder. Continue this remedy until the diaper rash is completely gone. Use our Comforting Comfrey Baby Salve to help prevent diaper rash after each diapering. After these steps, you are sure to have a happy baby and mama!
